What IMP is about & what we want:
IMP is a pretty stable guild with its own deal of ups and downs yet never has been on the edge of disbanding for many many years. So stick to the following, it will allow us to avoid the downs!
IMP is a PvE raiding guild as core value. We would like to see from ALL of our members full dedication to PvE content. This means Arena's etc have no priority over a scheduled raid! if you into PvP, fine, but keep it restricted to nights we do not raid. You are in a guild known for being friendly and with a great social activity. If you more into soloing things and lack social skills I don't think you will feel at home with us, our gchat pretty much keeps on going every day and night.
As a guild we are currently trying to get two 10-man groups going, one group with the ambition to do HC content, the other one more laid back clearing normals. Should we get enough people there are possibilities for a 25 man team at some point.
For our progression raid we will pick the players we feel will constitute a good setup. Farm raids however we try to get lesser geared people while still maintaining a group able to kill. Showing up prepared for a progression raid will get you favours for farm content, as will stepping out on farm content.
IMPs current set of officers are:
Demogorge
Maasi
Matamig
Precíous
Pwncakes
Xlust (On a break)
Loot is distributed via rolls. During your 2-3 week trial you are allowed to roll should noone else want the item.
Raids & Rules:
When you are raiding with us we'd like to see the following:
* To have signed for the raids you can attend and will be online for.
* Be ready at 19.30h for invites and at the summoning stone
* Have your flasks/ pots and food ready to keep you going all evening.
* To help collect mats for Food buffs, Pots/Flasks and Resistance gear. So IMP's can perpare for future raids.
* You need to know how to play your class (sounds simple but we all probably have examples where this wasn't the case).
* Have any addons you may need for raiding installed and setup.
* Know the tactics of the bosses we heading to that night and read up on new bosses if we going towards them (watch youtube etc).
* Your equipment should be fully gemmed and enchanted.
* You need to have a PvE build/ specc.
* Able to stay till the end of a raid (23h earliest) without random afk's or 4x per hour bio breaks. We have a scheduled 10 minute break about halfway into the raid.
* Avoid spamming meters in raidchat. Whisper if requested.
* Avoid bashing other members of the raid. That is a passtime reserved for officers only.
Other then those:
* Respect your guildies, not everyone shares your opinion but keep the bitch fights out of gchat!
* Help guildies if you can. We all need help at one point, if you help others, they will help you in return
* Guild> own interests. Yes it can be that on some raids we might ask you to step out for another person, it's not because we don't like you but because the set up isn’t working. We hope to see a mature attitude at that point.
* Understand we cannot please everyone; we try to be open and democratic. But at some point decisions have to be made, and this will be done by the leader and officers. Remember, we can listen to your points and take them into consideration but that doesn’t mean they will be implemented right away or at all. There are a lot of things that need to be considered before a decision can be made, sometimes in your favour, sometimes not.
Besides that: if you happen to join IMP as trial or have an active raider rank, make sure to to make an AFK post in the thread on our forum if you not gonna be joining for a week or more!
You are allowed to pug bosses we've downed the current raid-week (in all relevant raidgroups). Members on social status are allowed to pug at will. Alts are allowed to pug only if the main is in no way required for IMP raids at the time.
